Areas Served

We serve a variety of areas across the Northeast and mid-Atlantic. However, the type of pellet that is available in your region depends on where you are located. Energex’s hardwood pellets come from our Mifflintown, PA plant, which allows us to quickly and efficiently deliver pellets across the state and to other areas of the mid-Atlantic and New England. Our hardwood pellets in PA can go to Maryland, Delaware, New York, West Virginia, Virginia, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and more.

On the other hand, our softwood pellets are manufactured in our Lac-Megantic, Quebec facility, just a few miles from the Maine/New Hampshire border. We began using the facility in 1993 after we acquired it from the Shell Oil Company. It’s one of North America’s oldest wood pellet plants, and it allows us to ship softwood pellets to not only states neighboring Canada, but across all of New England and New York. It’s completely renovated, rehabilitated and modernized, so we can better serve our customers. Thanks to this facility, we provide softwood pellets in Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, and Maine.
