Ol’ Hick Beef Short Ribs
Cooking Pellet Type

- 8-10 beef short ribs
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp coarse black pepper
- 2 tsp Himalayan pink salt, ground
- 1 tsp all purpose steak rub
Directions
- Turn on your pellet grill to 275°F.
- Mix the rub ingredients together in a small bowl (onion powder, garlic powder, coarse black pepper, salt, and steak rub)
- Rub the short ribs and let them sit at room temp for 15-20 minutes.
- Put the short ribs on the pellet grill and smoke for 3 1/2 – 4 hours.
- Remove when the internal temp gets up to 200-205°F and let rest for 15-20 minutes.
Note: For added flavor, before removing from the pellet grill, add 1 tsp of salted butter to the top of each one. Remove when melted.
