Smoked Beef Ribs
Cooking Pellet Type
Ingredients
Ingredients
- Plate of beef ribs
- Hot sauce, olive oil, or Jim Beam® Bourbon
- Coarse Kosher Salt
- Coarse Black Pepper
- Granulated Garlic
Directions
- Turn on pellet grill to 275°F
- If desired, trim some of the excess fat deposits on top of the plate, but not all of it.
- Do not remove the membrane on the bottom. This will keep the bones attached to the meat.
- Cover the plate in the desired rub binder (hot sauce, olive oil, or Jim Beam® Bourbon)
- Rub all sides with the salt, pepper, and garlic
- Let rest for 20-25 minutes
- Place on pellet grill with the bones down.
- Smoke for 6-7 hours, or until the internal temp gets to around 205°F. Take a temp probe and poke straight down between the bones. When the probe goes through the membrane easily, they are done.
- Remove from the pellet grill and let rest for 20-30 minutes. Best to rest in a cooler.
- Enjoy!
