Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 8-10 beef short ribs
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp coarse black pepper
  • 2 tsp Himalayan pink salt, ground
  • 1 tsp all purpose steak rub

Directions

  1. Turn on your pellet grill to 275°F.
  2. Mix the rub ingredients together in a small bowl (onion powder, garlic powder, coarse black pepper, salt, and steak rub)
  3. Rub the short ribs and let them sit at room temp for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Put the short ribs on the pellet grill and smoke for 3 1/2 – 4 hours.
  5. Remove when the internal temp gets up to 200-205°F and let rest for 15-20 minutes.

Note: For added flavor, before removing from the pellet grill, add 1 tsp of salted butter to the top of each one. Remove when melted.
